Business Challenges

Tryan Christos became Managing Director of Interlink in 2018, taking on the role within the family business. Due to unforeseen circumstances, he had to assume the leadership position quite suddenly, without a proper transition plan. At 28, Tryan had the drive but recognised he needed to fast-track his leadership growth with expert support.

As Tryan explains, “I was handed the reins during a time of disruption, without the usual succession planning. I knew I needed a structured external lens to help me grow into the role as fast as the company needed me to. I was looking for an external advisor to come in and offer that external perspective.

Tryan says, “One thing that we did last year, and I think it’s the best thing that we ever did with Brentnalls, was our 2-day strategy session with our senior leaders. The structure of that strategy session getting everyone together in a room and going through a more structured process to nail down the vision and strategy, essentially empowered me to embrace my vision and share it with the company and get that alignment with everyone.
