About Austim

Austim is a diversified supplier of decorative and structural decorative solid timber, including timber decking and cladding, merbau timber, recycled timber and more.  Austim’s customers are predominantly builders, tradesmen and furniture manufacturers, however the general public is also always welcome.



The Problem

Shortly prior to engaging Brentnalls WA, Austim lost a very significant customer, whom the company had heavily relied on for their revenue and access to the market.  As a result of this single event, Austim almost immediately stopped being profitable.

Despite the efforts of the company’s dedicated team and no shortage of ideas, Austim was lacking a clear strategic focus and a plan for a successful future.

The challenge for Brentnalls’ team, was to re-evaluate Austim’s market offering and the company’s strategic focus.  Without stability in the business and a return to profitability, Austim’s days were numbered.
